MATTHEW 6 : 5 WHEN YOU FAST AND PRAY

 

MATTHEW  6 : 5   And  when  thou   prayest,   thou  shall  not  be  as  the  hypocrites  are: for  they  love  to   pray  standing  in  the  synagogue  and  in  the  corner  of  the  streets,  that   the  may  be  seen   of  men.  Verily  I  say  unto  you, They  have  their  reward.


MATTHEW   6 :  6    But  thou,  when  thou  prayest,  enter   into  thy  closet ,  and   when  thou  hast   shut  thy  door,  pray  to  thy  father  which  is  in  secret,  and   thy  father  which  seeth  in  secret   shall  reward   thee  openly.   


Our  LORD  JESUS  taught   us  in  this  very  bible  verse  never  to  do  like   the  hypocrites  do,  so  we  will  not  be  like  them.


Don't  deliberately    stand  in  a  public  place  to  pray  so  people  can  see  you.

Don't  go  to  church  and    pretend  to  be  a  prayer   warrior   when   you  cannot   pray  at  home.

Don't   prove  to  people  that  you  know  how  to  pray.


As  the  children   of  the  Almighty  God  we  are  to  go  into  our  closet  and  pray  to  GOD.  Your  prayers  should  be  between  you  and  GOD   . Do  not  advertise  your  prayers ,  learn  to  go  secret  when  it  comes  to  the  time  of  prayer.


Our  GOD  is  in   secret  and  our  prayers  should  be  made   in  secret   to  him   and  not  in  public  places. If  anything  borders  you,  go  into  your  room  or  into  a  place  you  can  be  alone   and  call  upon  GOD  and  He  will  see  your  sincerity  and  He  will  have  mercy  on  you  and  answer  your  prayers.


Any  prayer  you  stand  to pray  just  to  impress  everyone  around  you  is  a  waste  of  prayer    because   you  are  deceiving  yourself.  You're  not spiritual  enough  when  you  go  praying  to  impress  people. You  are  not  spiritual  enough  when  you  pretend  to  pray  whenever  you're   around  people.


You  can  deceive  people    but  you  can't  deceive   GOD.  You  can  lie  to  man  but  you  can't  lie  to  GOD. You  can  pretend  before  men  but  you  can't  pretend  to GOD. You   can't  get  anything  from  GOD  with  pretence.

GOD  sees  your  heart   and He  knows  what  is  in  there.

WHO  MUST  HAVE  PLANTED  THE  PLANTS ? DON'T BEHAVE LIKE THE UNBELIEVERS. EPHESIANS 4 : 17 - 18.

EPHESIANS  4 : 17 - 18 THIS   I  SAY  THEREFORE, AND  TESTIFY  IN  THE  LORD, THAT  YE  HENCEFORTH  WALK  NOT  AS  OTHER  GENTILES  WALK,  IN  THE  VANITY  OF  THEIR MIND. HAVING  THE  UNDERSTANDING  DARKENED,  BEING  ALIENATED  FROM  THE  LIFE  OF  GOD  THROUGH  THE  IGNORANCE  THAT  IS  IN  THEM,  BECAUSE  OF  THE  BLINDNESS  OF  THEIR  HEART: TEACHINGS...
